Hello Erik,

Band-Maid (Japan) has released several more albums since 'New Beginning', which seems to be the only album currently on Pandora. The most recent (2019) is Conqueror, which features a track produced by Tony Visconti, who also produced David Bowie.

'World Domination' was released  2018, 'Just Bring It' in 2017, and 'Yolo' in 2016. The 2014 album 'Maid in Japan' was the first release. After the 2015 'New Beginning', 'Brand New Maid' came out 2016. Band-Maid also released an album as Band-Maiko.

There is also no information for Band-Maid, which could easily be resolved. Same for the Japanese band SCANDAL (latest album released 2/12/2020). 

Who writes the band info anyways?

Hi there! I would like to add an artist to Pandora. I am currently finding no results for her name or any of her albums. Her name is Melody Guy, and I think she would be classified under country/rock. Any suggestions for how to get her added?

I make a suggestion, nothing happens, no feedback other than "thanks, keep looking". At this point, I feel like it's a broken process that has no impact whatsoever. I am . . . disenchanted.

Okay, so what is the curation team's process? They get a suggestion, and then what? Some visibility in that process would go a long way for me. How long does the curation process typically take? How do they prioritize suggestions, if they do at all?

@BreenX When you add your suggestions to this thread, what I do is send your request to our curation team for further review.

They follow a vetting process similar to the way our AMP team handles music submissions from actual artists.

I saw where Studio Ghibli has licensed their music from their movies and other animated projects to streaming services -- but not Pandora. I love this music and it would definitely make me inclined to upgrade my Pandora service if Pandora had it too.

My first post so don't murder me yet...

So many great bands get signed for such a short time and disappear but yet have great songs.  There is nothing more annoying than typing in the name of your favorite band and getting some undesired song in your Pandora mix!  I do prefer Pandora and my stats should show that.  Mostly Pandora does exactly what we want but I feel like a lot of music, unless super popular, was lost in their development.  Youtube seems fully capable of keeping alive those lost rare bands but I wish Pandora could help us or help us, help Pandora.  So I know you all have these bands but wouldn't it be great to have a Pandora submission button somewhere?  For those struggling musicians or one hit wonders still out there at it?  To me that would take Pandora over the top for sure!
