I'm with you BreenX. Since the very beginning Pandora has not had my badges in order. After a few complaints I got 1 badge, but I should like have almost all of them. Now the hours that I have been listening is all messed up, and Pandora acts like they are on top of it as the months or years go by. I complain that two different bands are under the same name, and they say they will get on it, but they never do. Same thing with Bookmarks. The Bookmarks feature is listed and it hasn't worked for years. Sometimes their selection of music is racist, I made a different post on that. Pandora is slowly getting worse over the years. It also takes too many listening hours to figure out how to get what you want. Maybe I'm dumb, but it took me years to figure out how to get what I want. Now that is the only thing keeping me a customer of theirs, but I imagine that will fall about just like everything else they try to do.
To top it off I'm a Premium customer. I can't imagine how much worse the service is like if you only have a free account.
Hello, I've been using Pandora for several years. A few months back i signed up for the premium version. I have no complaints about the service. I have several "stations" that I've built. The one I use the most is my Lovin' Spoonful station. I love it! Just one great song from that era after another. But I've noticed the conspicuous absence of The Turtles. I finally got around to searching for them. It had never occurred to me before that perhaps some artists don't have agreements with Pandora. So is that's whats going on here? I'm just curious but that is a pretty hole in that time period. Thanks for any conformation or denial. @gdock
@gdock It's true that we may not have every artist or band in our catalog.
With that being said, I do see we have a radio station for the Turtles: The Turtles Radio
If there are any specific albums or tracks by The Turtles that you'd like to request get added to Pandora, this Music Suggestions thread is the best place for that.
Just let us know what content by The Turtles you'd like to see on Pandora, and we'll make sure to pass your suggestions along to our curation team for further review.
Hope this helps! 😁
You currently have several performances from various CDs by jazz saxophonist Gabe Salazar available. But you're missing two of my favorites, from a CD titled "Gabe" -- Europa, and Music of the Night. I have a copy of the CD, which I can send to you if it no longer is available for sale elsewhere. Also would very much like to hear music from his first album: "Stan Kenton Presents Gabe Baltazar."
Thanks for your suggestion, @Astar0th!
To clarify, is the track called For Starters, by Tatiana Kotova?
If not, let me know the name of the specific songs by that artist that you'd like to see on Pandora.
Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝
There’s also the song “Let’s Go Round Again” by the Average White Band. You cannot get the radio version of the song anymore. It’s only the live version which isn’t so great. 🎶 🎶😊
@Vvxb Nice to see you around the Community. 👋🏽
More music from around the world:
We're currently working hard to build up our international music collection. We began this major effort by releasing thousands of Latin, Brazilian, Hawaiian, Celtic, Cajun and Zydeco songs onto Pandora and we are adding music to these genres continually. A while ago, we also expanded the Music Genome Project to include thousands of Indian and African songs.
You can check out what we've got so far here.
While we are hard at work to improve our collection of other genres of "world" music, keep in mind that analyzing world music requires different listening skills and music theory knowledge on the parts of our Music Analysts. It's a huge undertaking, but we're really excited about it!
We do our best to keep our listeners informed of new offerings on Pandora, so you can follow our blog for any new developments. In the meantime, hope you enjoy the otherwise wide range of music Pandora currently offers!
More children's music:
First, we offer a number of curated family genre stations, which you can find here.
Second, always make sure that when you create a station for children, you make sure that the station name has a "(Children's)" label on it. If you're creating a new station based on a song, make sure that the artist performing the song has the same label. (If for some reason you come across a popular children's song where the performing artist is missing that label, please let us know.)
Finally, I'd be happy to provide you with some steps for editing your stations from a computer or mobile device, so that you can check your seeds yourself in the future. Just let me know if that would be helpful – and what kind of device you'd like to use.
If you have any specific requests for music you'd like to see added to Pandora, feel free to reply to this thread and let us know.
I hope this is helpful. 😁
