Choosing an audio source

Choosing an audio source

Using the desktop app on a Mac, and I'm looking for a way to choose my Bluetooth speakers as an output source. The way I use it now, is that I connect to my Bluetooth speakers, but then all of the sounds on my laptop, including Pandora go to the speaker. This is not ideal because I don't want to hear sound effects from my other apps. iTunes has a way of chosing the audio output, but I downloaded and installed the Pandora app, and I can't figure out how to do that. Is it even possible?

I heavily second this feature request.
This is one of my favorite things about Spotify for desktop AND for mobile - they both have the option to connect directly to my Alexa and Google Home from the app itself. 1) This means only my music/podcasts play on my speakers
2) It also makes it a hell of a lot easier to listen to in loud, good quality without all the extra steps of bluetooth or going through the Alexa app.
3) It allows me to continue using the other functions of the music app (liking, adding to playlists, looking at the artist/album information, etc.)

I would like the Pandora app to let me choose to play music on Google nest audio instead of me speaking into my speaker.

2 years later and still cant select an output device. I guess Pandora has no intention of earning anyones money or respect lol. Seriously it is now august 2021. I cant believe there is an audio based app that accepts money but doesn't let you choose an output device. Meanwhile not only does spotify have this but they also have a much wider selection for soundtracks and underground or youtube artists. This is such a joke its almost unbelievable.

I change my output on my mac and it works well.

I would love to change the audio source in-app. Instead of having to go into Windows settings and change it every time I open the app.
