The current New Releases page is absolutely useless, to the point of being user-hostile for someone who actually wants to browse new stuff that's come out, and find new music. There need to be filters for format (singles/albums/EPs), genre, and time periods, and more importantly, there needs to be some way of trying out a thing without navigating away from the page or losing your place in the list. The whole flipping through album art thing is stupid and inefficient. The title and artist should always, always, always take the priority real estate in the list! How hard is that to grasp, really? What makes it even worse, is that when you do go to try out a thing, it loads a new page, navigating away from the list, and when you find out what you've navigated to either totally **ahem**, or is a single, or just accidentally hit something, you've then lost your place and are required to go back to the very beginning of the list, and trudge through hundreds of unnecessary image loads, which is tedious and basically means you're actively discouraging people from exploring new music, by adding a pretty high cost in frustration and navigability. There also needs to be something that can hide individual results you already know you aren't interested in from that list, possibly also a filter to exclude everything you've already tried, or list only things you have already tried, if you're trying to find a thing again.
