I have been on Pandora since 2006. Before there were advertisements. I started paying for the service as soon as ads were implemented because I severely do not like to be advertised to. I have spent several hundred dollars on this product already. If I am locked in at the current price, and I use this service for the rest of my life, at 60$ per year for the next 60 years, I will have spent 3,600$ which seems absolutely absurd. I feel like I have already paid more than a fair amount for this service and would like a way out of the monthly or annual fee model.
I have a lifetime subscription to Sirius Satelite from before they took over XM... now that you're partnered up as well... would my lifetime subscription carry over???
I was thinking that it would be nice to pay a one-off fee to have lifetime access to the platform, and it seems like it would be a popular option, as I think most people who are using the platform will likely be long term listeners. Also, I can't think of any other streaming platforms that offer this, so it might attract customers over from other platforms as well as a unique option. Pandora is simply the best imo with the Genome Project functionality, and I would love to see an option like that.
A one price lifetime subscription would end the need for the Feature Request of getting a copy of your invoice after making a payment........just saying......
I kick myself for not jumping at the chance for a $299 lifetime deal when Pandora was just trying to get started. Just looked it up and the option is no longer available. Pretty sad. I have a lifetime with Sirius. However, they don't think their ads are really ads. Oh, yeah, telling me about concert dates isn't advertising. Oh, the news channels have more ads than programming. Even doctor radio is littered with ads. I understand that now Sirius is charging annual "rotality fees" forever to new lifetime customers. Sirius is a horrible New York ripoff. I really hate them. I have a receiver that can record so I can listen to 30 hours of recorded music without their retarded "Personalities" spewing advertisements between nearly every song. I like to turn my radio in my shop to 10 (11's louder) but I can't because the retards start to say stupid stuff and it's embarrassing. I also hate sports and tell me why if the majority of the subscription cost goes toward purchasing sports programming why can't I buy a music only package?.... Well, sports channels have advertising so they make a **ahem** ton of $$ from making it mandatory to buy these no mind channels. Oh, and don't get me going on that big infomercial that they call Howard Jew Stern. I'd rather hear nails on a chalkboard. He and his retarded cronies just talk juvenile **ahem** about people. They are obviously promoting movies TV and music.... Yes, the horrific music of today. Sirius is the biggest ripoff to ever come out on that crooked city of New Jerk.
When I wrote that I never typed "ahem" twice. I typed $hit which apparently is too harsh for the snowflakes of today. Sad that the government is pussifying this country and big business is behind them catching the $$ that they steal from hard working Americans. Wake up people. These crooked politicians are stealing your country and soon kids will have to learn Chinese if you don't stop them NOW! If you have a Biden sticker on your car you should be ashamed because everyone knows that you are stupid!
