Ideas: Ability to block or mute artist/songs/genres

New Feature Idea: Create Rules about what bands you never want to hear.  If I select a Genre but there are certain bands I never want to hear, there should be a way to create a rule. i.e. I select the 70's Rock Genre but I never want to hear any music from Sting, Rush, Styx, Journey, Kiss, etc.  then allow me to create a rule eliminating them fron the selection algorithm.

People have been suggesting this since Pandora came out, can we get this feature already?!! I have thumbs downed ever song by 3 certain bands on every channel for well over 5 years and they still show up!! They aren’t even relevant to the stations that they come on for, and I have never listened to the songs “accidentally”. Deftones will wake me up from a sleep to make me change it, as will Sevendust and ac/dc. Yet they still come on my dubstep stations, my Johnny cash station, my In Flames station, any of them. Make it stop

Yes thank you. It's not a problem for me to just thumbs down for my own listening, but when I am playing my children's music station there are certain genres I do not want my children listening to and I cannot exclude them. So often my kids want to listen to the new song and I can't just do a thumbs down. I would like to have the ability to make the station kids safe, including the option opt out of religious music.

Spotify has this feature!  Just letting everyone know in case this feature is important to them and they want to switch apps.  Pandora's "thumbs down" still isn't blocking all songs of that artist.  I'm testing Spotify out now, might be switching.

You you should be able to remove music an artist from the station that you created, but you can’t. I’ve been a member of Pandora almost since the day it started to not have them features that gives you more and better control. It’s just ridiculous to me. Is anyone else having this issue or does anyone else care about this issue?
