Pandora seems to have an app for every smart device I have ever bought, except a new car with AAOS (Android Automotive OS). Please port a tablet version of Pandora for AAOS so that I can use that instead of radio or Spotify (which does have an app).
Since GM is not going to support Apple CarPlay going forward Pandora REALLY needs to add a native Android Automotive app. Yea I know I could use a bluetooth connection but it would be much better being able to use the cars native interface to access the Pandora app. If still not available when my next renewal comes around it will probably be time to cancel and use the service that does have a native app.
I finally gave up on Pandora and switched to Spotify which works well in my Volvo. However, I would have preferred to be using Amazon Music but it doesn't play well with Google which basically runs my car.
The bluetooth quality in my Volvo with Bowers & Wilkins speakers is terrible.
After close to 20 years I may have to migrate my premium subscription and primary music platform to Spotify due to the lack of Android Automotive OS support.
Please update the app to support this, it can't be all that much of a change. Sirius supports it, maybe get someone from that team to help.
Sirius owns Pandora.. That may be why they don't do the app.. Apparently, all the complaining from us peons doesn't mean a thing to Pandora. I personally think that Sirius wants to eliminate Pandora, so they don't even respond to most peoples complaints. If anyone ever gets a response from Sirius, please post it on here for all to see.
