My mother passed away recently and I had pandora playing in the background throughout the day. We listened to one of her favorite stations, Jose Jose radio - full of nostalgic, romantic ballads. I remember feeling very comforted by the song that played while I held her hand and stroked her hair as she took her last peaceful breath. I cannot however, remember the song. I didn't even think about it again until weeks later when things slowed down.
It would be nice to be able to search listening history based on date and even a specific time frame. Maybe a feature like this could help others put a song to something meaningful in their lives, such as a first kiss, receiving good news, receiving sad news, hanging with loved ones in the kitchen, a soundtrack for living life in general. As painful as it was to lose her, the faint music around us was truly beautiful. I would love to put a song to the feeling and the last moments she and I shared together.
In case the pandora gods see this and this information is tucked away in some server already, May 22, 2025 around 3pm ish is the date and time that I'm referring to.
I'm sure Teresa would love to tickle some feet at night, if that motivates anyone.
