I sometimes forget that I have a song already in a playlist and when I add a song already in my playlist it will duplicate it and not let me know its already in a specific playlist I am choosing to add it.
I can never remember if a pandora generated song is already on one of my playlists, so I add it just to be sure. I was thinking that listing or highlighting songs as already being on a playlist, either on the now playing screen or highlighting the song or showing what playlist the song is already part of in the add to playlist feature might be helpful.
I would like to see Pandora notify me when I add a duplicate song on a playlist. It could then ask to add or delete. I say add because occasionally I like a song so much, I want it on my playlist multiple times.
I switched to youtube music. It took me about 5 min to migrate my playlists over. Youtube music tells me when I try to add a song that is already on a playlist. Just all around a better platform.
Yes, I agree with you. That's a great point. I mainly listen to Pandora at home on my laptop and the website doesn't alert when a song is already in a Playlist, but it does alert on the mobile app. But, you're idea of adding a song to a Playlist multiple times is great.
