Is there a way to filter out AI artists

Hi all,

Does there happen to be a way to filter out AI artists? I keep getting them on my stations and it's driving me crazy. I thumbs down a song from the artist but get another one from the same one later.

I don't want to mess with my station too much, because other than the AI content, I have it pretty dialed in, and I don't want it thinking I don't like the genre.

I avoid most generative AI. Not trying to start a debate. AI has legitimate uses, I am not against all of it, but I don't want my subscription pennies going toward generated music, when real artists could be getting it.

I have been a pandora listener since waaaay early on, and I am seriously considering unsubscribing if I can't make that choice.

Agreed 100%. Just found Aria Flux and gave it the thumbs down. But if Pandora won't remove AI, I will remove Pandora. Which is too bad, I've been a subscriber for a LONG time, but I dropped Spotify when they decided AI music was the way of the future so Pandora is up on the chopping block next. The silence from Pandora's mgmt speaks volumes.

Yeah. Aria Flux was one of them! I thumbs downed one of her songs and got another the same day. I really love that station too, and we all know what happens if you touch even one little thing once you've dialed in a station.

The other one that came up today was Sandoz Labz.

I don't think I've gotten much fake content. My stations tend to have a smaller number of artists that I generally recognize.

But I also would like an explicit answer for this. If I ever think that I can't trust it not to feed me garbage then I'll cancel my 15+years premium subscription. I will not be fed garbage.

Pandora needs to either remove AI content from it's library entirely, or allow users to turn off AI content on stations and auto-play. At the barest minimum Pandora needs to clearly label when a song is AI.

Yes! I do not like listen to Ai music it is not emotional. This should be added into the ideas.

I do not think I have heard AI music yet. Could you tell me popular AI artists I should avoid?

I would also like an option to turn off AI generated music or at least be able to block certain artists from playing for my account. I’ve been using pandora for over 20 years and I will take my money elsewhere if y’all continue to allow AI “artists” to play without any moderation.

How do I diasable AI artists?? All of a sudden just within the past day or two, one of my favourite stations is COMPLETELY overrun with AI music and artists, to the point where I just had to thumbs down three tracks in a row! How do I get my algorithm to understand that I do NOT want ANY part of AI generated music? Is there a way to completely block certain artists from ever appearing on any station?

100% agree! At least label the content at a bare minimum but being able to flag and filter it out would be ideal. I’m used to seeing “bio unavailable” since I listen to a lot of Indy artists so when I hear a new one, I’m forced to Google if it’s AI or not.

I’ve noticed over the years that Indy artists get priority because they are cheaper and that’s great for artists, Pandora, and the listener, but don’t want fake art to take priority because it’s even cheaper for Pandora.

I stand with everyone here as a long time subscriber opposed to art theft who wants my subscription $ to go to actual artists. I would love a response from Pandora about this! I listen to Pandora all day every day but this is making me have to think hard about which platform I choose for my Soundtrack To Life.

Hey is there any rules for ai work?

so i have been trying to find songs and i sometimes come across someone who has edited or used ai in a way to change the song. I sometimes see lyrics changed, slowed, or even just straight ai. It makes me upset to see that when i am an artist (i have drawn for years) and have been against ai since it came out. I have seen a song that the thumbnail is completely ai. Weird misshapen fingers and all. It's the only song the "creator" has made and it's a widely reposted song, but theirs is sort of slowed and deformed in some spots of the song. I know i could just click off or just not search for that song, but the version of the song i have been listening to had been taken down (via the entire account being taken down not just the song) and i was looking for a replacement until i came across the ai. I am just curious if there are any rules or a report option against any songs i see with ai in them in either the song or thumbnail? I have just noticed the repost of the song has taken the singer's name and stole their song slapping ai onto it.This is the ai cover of the song (look at the guy's arm he is using to hold the sword)This is the ai cover of the song (look at the guy's arm he is using to hold the sword)This is the OFFICAL cover (im 90% sure)This is the OFFICAL cover (im 90% sure)
