Pandora Update 07/02/2020: Hi everyone!
Our engineering team is aware of the issue with the "Hours Listened To" time stamp resetting.
They are currently looking into it and are working on a resolution. 🛠
Keep an eye on this thread as all updates will be posted here.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

The number of "hours listened" counts for multiple stations that are part of My Collection were reset today. I had one that was at 640 hours and now it says 22 minutes. Another was over 200 hours and now says 5 hours listened. Other stations didn't change but haven't updated for at least two days.
Did something get changed today on Pandora? A bad backup install?
mod edit: changing title for clarity
Hi @lynshaw - Thanks for posting to community!
I'm not aware of any changes on our end that would cause this. I'd like to take a closer look, can you let me know the names of that station(s) you're seeing this on?
Thanks!
I made a station entitled, "Well Seasoned Rock," years ago. The last I checked it had 151 hours listened and well over 250+ Thumbs Up. Now it says I have only listened to the station for 1 hour. Can this please be fixed?
Also my station, "Aerosmith - Dream On Radio" Says it has 0 seconds listened, when it should say 2 hours listened.
My Pearl Jam station should have at least 65 hours listened, and not 20 hours listened.
My station "Classic Jazz" should be 228 hours listened, not 23.
My station "Guitar DDD Classical" should be 103 hours listened, not 11.
My station "Dream Theater" should be 52 hours listened, not 7.
My station "Unpopular Metal - Future Rock?" 24 hrs hours listened, not 19.
Hi @lynshaw and @MusicIsForever Thanks for posting your experience and letting us know about this!
@MusicIsForever I combined your posts into one and merged them into this thread to keep things organized and tidy. @lynshaw I did the same with your post.
I've gone ahead and created a ticket for this so that our engineers can further investigate.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
I have also seen this on all of the stations in my collection. In addition, the 'Recently Listened To' timestamp is incorrect on all of the stations and doesn't always update when a station is played.
I am using the web version of Pandora in the Google Chrome browser on a PC. I have been experiencing this for a few days.
Thanks,
John
@localecho Thank you for reporting this - I have passed your feedback along to our engineers so they can further investigate.
Thanks for your patience!

My phone app still accurately shows last played for when last played on the app but on my Chrome browser on a Windows laptop shows that only the stations I listened to on my Verizon Fios TV app and phone app in the last few days as having been listened to. Of those two, it is showing more hours for the one that I listen to less. For both of those the hours are really low compared to my total lifetime listening but still show more than two weeks worth of hours listened. This is strange because I have listened to some of the other stations in the last two weeks on the computer also. Today is the first time since last week I used the computer instead of one of the apps. Also one of the stations showing on the computer I only listen to on the phone app.
@jeffnn Thank you for sharing your experience on the community.
Our engineers have been made aware of this issue and are currently investigating.
Thank you for your patience with this as they work to find a fix. 🛠

Even more fun, my hours listened has started to get absurd results. Until a week ago my station with the most had about 150 hours. Then Friday I suddenly had 10 stations with more than 1000. This Tuesday I have stations with more than 4000.
This did correspond with me buying Premium and setting my stations to Artist Only.
Hi @Kepler! Thanks for posting your experience on community. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I've included your info on our ticket for this. Our engineers are currently investigating this issue.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
The station hours now appear to be correct but the last time listened for all of them but the ones I listened to in the last day show the date they were created, not last listened to.
Hi @jeffnn - can you send over a screenshot for me? I'd like to share this with our engineering team.
Thanks!
Thank you. I'll bet the developers will enjoy it.
Completely fixed now.
Hi there, @jeffnn. 👋
Thanks so much for the update. I've shared your feedback with our engineering team.
Let us know if anything else pops up. Happy listening! 🎶
I have this same issue that Kepler has, and it has been a while. Has Pandora changed their definition of listening hours?
My first guess was it is counting the duration of the artist's entire discography. Did you also set Artist Only on your stations?
I am recently having this problem with my account as well, as of about two weeks ago. I've been keeping an eye on it, and this thread, hoping that it will be resolved, but it hasn't yet. Unlike Kepler, I didn't recently switch to Premium--have had that for a long while. I haven't done anything different with how I listen, and my stations have never been set to Artist Only.
I had recently checked my "hours listened", which I do occasionally to see the order of my most listened stations, so I can give you a fairly accurate account of how it changed.
My most listened station: Thomas Newman was at around 1320 hours, is now 2111 hours
Next: Maranatha was around 680 hours, is now 6,626 hours
Next: Quiet Metal (renamed from Doom Metal) was somewhere in the neighborhood of 550 hours, now 6,109 hours
Next: Reading Music (renamed from Electronic for Studying) was approx. maybe 480-520 or so, now 14,707 hours (was saying 16,000 some odd hours, went down to 15,000, now 14,707)
As you can see, it is off the charts messed up, and still changing a little here and there.
Also, my "recently listened" is changed drastically. Everything going back to Jan. 2019 seems to be correct (at one point that was not the case either, but it changed at least that much a few days later), but everything before Jan. 2019 says "never listened", which is not accurate.
I've been a Pandora listener since 2010, and have never seen this happen. It is disturbing. I hope this will be fixed soon.
