I have duplicate songs on my playlist. I didn't do this. Please help remove.

Unfortunately, there isn't currently a way to bulk delete tracks on playlists.
If you'd like to see that feature added to the service, I recommend upvoting this existing thread: Ideas: Bulk Add-Delete-Edit-Search Content (Stations, Playlists, Thumbs)
For now, you will need to manually remove each duplicate track one at a time.

This is clearly a big issue. I have over 1500 songs in my thumbs up play list and I want a simple way of at least viewing the duplicates. I CAN'T EVEN SORT BY NAME! How is it that a company thats been around for over 20 years and has almost 2000 employees, which also charges $5-$10 a month for a service that lacks basic features!?!? There is no way I can search within the playlist, sort by name, title, artist, genre, etc. This I find is a massive lack of basic programming for your customers. Shuffle is a poor feature that still repeats the same songs if the app has been restarted on the same device. Plus every time the shuffle is selected it will remove itself when the app is restarted, say from going from the listening on the phone to the car. I'm going to be canceling this service pretty soon if there are no changes made to these basic features. I don't think its asking for much and its clear from other community members that this is quite frustrating. Is there any support phone number to call to get personalize helped instead of having to post only on here?
This absolutely will not and will never be fixed - and I am very sorry this is happening to yall but if you're reading this im assuming they still have not fixed it so thats cool.... How we are still manually doing this in 2025 is beyond me and exactly why I will not pay for premium - even the free trials are worthless.
The reason why I say this will never happen is that I complained and requested this feature when I canceled my subscription.... In 2016.......... Where they said they were working on it.....
Almost a decade of users adding songs on pandora stations only to realize you already added that, lets not talk the fact you would also have to continually group by instead of just playing your playlist. Or maybe a nice little popup that asks if you want to add duplicates.... I am an architect (a real one - not software) and I am pretty sure I could code this.
I will forever say pandora is better than spotify because free spotify is way worse than free pandora. But good god is their paid version lightyears ahead... Nine years and you still havent added it..... I can't even defend you after this.. Listen and support the customers who are supporting you!

I am sure a couple of years back, it used to warn you if you tried to add a song that was already on your playlist (you could still do it but had to click OK on the warning). Now it just lets you with no warning. And as someone noted there is no way to sort to see and delete duplicates. I am about done with it too! Playlists are the only reason I have premium and honestly the basic is better since I don't have much control over the playlists. 😑
@kellylafleur What is the make and model of the device you are using when you do not receive the warning?

100 songs are now 600. Why can’t they make a function to remove duplicates?
I don’t have the time to spend deleting or setting up a new playlist.
