For three weeks now Pandora stops mid way in every song and switches to the next song. Its been three weeks now. No help from Pandora. They blame the TV manufacturing or the cable company.

A big thank you to everyone for your patience while the issue with tracks skip on DirecTV was investigated. DirecTV's roll out to fix all affected receivers is now complete. We've received confirmation from listeners that this roll out has resolved this issue.

Thanks for your patience as we worked with DirecTV to resolve the issue causing tracks to skip after a minute or two.
DirecTV has started rolling out a fix to all affected receivers. Since this is a phased release, not all receivers will receive the fix right away. If you don’t see an update yet, please hang tight — it’s on the way.

Pandora is an app on my DIRECTV service. I normally listen to Pandora thru my home theater system without issues.
Beginning yesterday, songs only play for about a minute before going to the next song. I rebooted my DIRECTV receiver even though I didn’t think that would help.
Called Geek Squad tech support and they suggested I contact Pandora.
I will add that I can listen normally on apple devices via Bluetooth.

What's the model number of your DirecTV and software version?

I just started having the same problem today 3/7/25 when using my directv receiver, songs play for about a minute then skip to next song. Called directv, they had me re-set/re-boot my receiver, did not fix, they advised it must be a Pandora issue. I have the Genie HR54/500, software is 0x1bdd. The Pandora app on my iphone is working correctly.

having the same issue, this just started today 3-7-2026. Song will play about 30-60 seconds then skip to another song
Plays fine in my car and on iPhone
It’s skipping while using the app within DirectTv . I’ve reset the directv box it didn’t do anything . Called dIRECTV, and they said that there was nothing they could do that I had to contact Pandora

It does the same on mine and only started a few days ago. Plays fine on one tv and not the other. Directv replaced my receiver yesterday and that didn't solve the problem.

Ive called Directv and they are having the tech software team look into the issue. They said I was the only one reporting this issue so far.
I recommend that anyone having this issue also contact Directv.

Only in the last couple of days have I noticed that the DirecTV Pandora app only plays the first minute and 37 seconds of each song before skipping to the next song.
I have logged out and reinstalled the Pandora app in the DirecTV Apps under the Menu.
What else can I try?
Are there a "settings" button somewhere that would control that?
Having the same issue for the past several days. Only on DirecTV not on my phone.
The same is happening for me. Worked great for years and starting yesterday, Pandora skips to the next song after about 90 seconds
Songs are skipping while playing on TV
Fix Direct TV app to allow completion of songs. All picks cut out after approx 1 minute.
The last few days pandora only plays half a song before switching to the next on every song. Several people have posted this same issue. This is happening on direcTV. They say it’s an app issue but it doesn’t happen if I use Amazon.
On top of that: it plays fine on my other TV, still using Direct TV but a different box!!
