Pop: Foolish Games by Jewel.   https://pandora.app.link/1hevyahfIab , "Foolish Games"/"You Were Meant for Me" ranked at number 15 on Billboard ' s All Time Top 100 and held the record in the Guinness Book of World Records for longest chart run of a single for "Foolish Games"/"You Were Meant for Me", which charted for 65 weeks. (Side note). This is my favorite overall song, as well is the artist. 

Easy Listening: Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers.    https://pandora.app.link/Dc5m2aGfIab   The repertoire included some of the Righteous Brothers' best-known songs, such as "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," "Soul & Inspiration," "Unchained Melody", but also the later "Rock and Roll Heaven", as well as Bill Medley's "The Time of My Life".

Country: Making Believe by Emmylou Harris.  https://pandora.app.link/gIxYpUOfIab   Emmylou Harris is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. Christian/ Christian Contemporary: How Can It Be by Lauren Daigle.  https://pandora.app.link/NaW39ulgIab   Lauren Ashley Daigle was born on September 9, 1991. Daigle grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana in an environment of zydeco, Cajun and blues music.

Rock/ Rock-n-Roll: She Talks To Angels by The Black Crowes.  https://pandora.app.link/4UlhkOXgIab   This is regarded by many as The Black Crowes' best and well-known song. It hit number one on the US Album Rock Tracks chart and number 70 on the UK Singles Chart in 1991. The eighth track on The Black Crowes ‘ 1990 album Shake Your Money Maker, and one of the singles from the album.

The blue light in the best friend's room could just be the glow of a TV, reflected in his eyes - though as the pulsating glow of the song itself, it also represents the power of the universe running through us.

Hard Rock: Knockin' On Heavens Door by Guns N'Roses.  https://pandora.app.link/jJc9bM0F6bb

Knockin On Heaven's Door is a song originally done by Bob Dylan in 1973 and later covered by Guns N Roses for their 1991 album Use Your Illusion II. It was featured on The X Factor by Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke and Julia Bullock in Boot Camp 2.

Pop: Perfect by Ed Sheeran Duet with Beyoncé.  https://pandora.app.link/sgDIrSgG6bbEd Sheeran revealed that inspiration for the collaboration came after thinking about how to relaunch "Perfect". (Fun Boy Three did their own version of the song in ‘83.)

It reached #1 in Canada and New Zealand, while in the quintet's native Australia it peaked at #8.

Psychedelic Rock: Break On Through (To The Other Side) by The Doors.  https://pandora.app.link/kTJNPKNzgcbCover of the 1967 US single. "Break On Through (To the Other Side)" is a song by the Doors from their debut album, The Doors. It was the first single released by the band and was unsuccessful compared with later hits, reaching only number 126 in the United States.

This song is about James being apart from someone he loves and the struggle he faces during their separation. Also expressing his vow never to leave that person again. This is a beautiful song reflecting the pain felt by both parties during a separation that is due to external, unavoidable circumstances.

Cole wrote the song and recorded a demo in April 1991 but did not record it for release until 1996.
