Canceled subscription through Google Play

So I got a question so i canceled my subscription for premium on Google play on the day the free trial ended and I got back to pandora and saw I was still a member all I want to know is that if I payed for a new subscription

I do see you were able to successfully cancel your subscription through Google Play.

At the end of your current subscription, your account will automatically revert back to the free service, and you won't be charged again.
