I moved your post to the Subscription space as it seems more in line with what you are experiencing.
That said, checking the account linked to your Community profile, it seems like you originally had another Pandora account under a different email address, so I created a case for you with our support team so they can help take a look.

Today I paid for Pandora plus to upgrade from the low-level plan. I received an email confirming, but it does not show up in the Pandora app on my iPhone

I checked your case and it seems that the agent found the upgraded account is under a different email address.
Please let me know if you continue to have problems with this or if you need help with anything else.
I have already purchased Pandora Plus, My question was how do I stop the commercials and ads. Your app has instructions but that takes me to iTunes, I didn’t sign up with apple I sign up though your app so please give me some insight about this.

This seems to be a reoccurring issue with a Premium subscription with no resolution.
@missouriman I'd be happy to help with any questions you have, but I will need additional information to do so.
I'm showing your account is upgraded to Pandora Premium, so as long as you are signed into your upgraded account, you should be receiving the benefits of the subscription.
