Switch from gift subscription to Premium

I want to upgrade to Pandora Premium and keep getting the message "Sorry. Pandora Premium isn’t available for this account." I have had this account for years a do not want to start over. Any help would be appreciated.

Our support team has confirmed that you are currently upgraded to Pandora Plus with a gift subscription.

Unfortunately, it's not currently possible for Pandora Plus gift subscribers to upgrade to Pandora Premium. You'll have to wait until your gift expires first, so that your account is set back to a free one. At that time, you'll be able to upgrade.

If you'd prefer to try Premium immediately, I can put you in touch with our support team directly and they can help.

Let me know if you'd like them reach out to you for help with that.

Perhaps you could provide an answer for the rest of us?

ETA: Nevermind, I found out that I can't because it is a gift subscription. Might I suggest adding the reason along with the error message on the upgrade page so that people don't have to search for it?

I'm about to delete Pandora after being a customer since the beginning because it will not let me upgrade premium from plus. Customer service is non-existent.

At this time, your Pandora account is upgraded using an annual Pandora Plus gift subscription.

I would recommend checking out @AdamPandora's post about this here.

@AdamPandora  Hi Adam, can you put me in touch with the support team as well? I'm currently on plus as a gift subscription and need to upgrade to premium asap. We are having a party tonight and I need the premium version. A quick response would be great!
