T-Mobile Ad-free Radio Weekends - Redeem button is unresponsive

I’m trying to redeem the T-mobile free weekends but whenever I click the redeem button, it takes me to Pandora, but nothing happens?!

I did the redeem coupon and it does not show error. Brings me to my Pandora account and continues with ads. Capital one and others. I actually deleted storage in my tuesday app. and restarted it, redeemed coupon. Still didn't work.

My pop up invite for free weekends is not popping up. (It has previously worked) I’ve restarted my phone and logged out and into my pandora account.

At one time I had done the same as Ur_nemesys and realized my phone is not the issue. I will click throughout the T-Mobile app now, sometimes it works, most times it doesn’t. Super frustrating.

Hi Adam, so ad free worked for maybe a month or so and one day it forgot and told me to subscribe and then commercials resumed.  Please fix it again. I had subscribed tmobile ad free wknd and had it for short time.

I’ve been trying to redeem the T-Mobile ad-free weekend promo since the beginning of the year (I am a T-Mobile customer) and all that happens is it automatically opens my Pandora app and starts playing whatever I was listening to last which is always music. Occasionally it will start playing an ad but it’ll be something like a McDonald’s ad so it’s just not actually working at all. I’ve never subscribed to anything paid with Pandora, have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I tried signing out then back in, uninstalling and reinstalling, and it just won’t work at all. This is proven by having weekends full of ads. 

So I’ve missed an entire year of ad-free weekends for no apparent reason. Any ideas on a fix and possible extension?

I agree that this is what happens. When trying to Redeem from TMobile
Tuesdays app, clicking the Redeem button just opens Pandora and it starts
playing. Normally, to get a free weekend you have to watch a TMo ad first,
but that ad does not play. Instead Pandora just starts and ads play as
usual (Ralph’s ad for me I think). The proper way for this to work when
you open Pandora on a weekend is for a TMo ad to be offered for the free
weekend to start, but it does not happen most of the time.

You mentioned it was only the pop-up within the Pandora app that wasn't appearing.

Last Saturday 1/1/22 it was not the case. Clicking redeem button in TMo
tuesdays simply opened Pandora and it started playing with ads.

Here is what happened exactly. Perhaps it helps.

In the afternoon on 1/1/22 I decided to drive downtown for a walk. I
plugged my phone to the car, which starts Apple CarPlay, and starred
Pandora. I realized it was Sat and I could use Pandora without ads, so I
unplugged the cable, closed Pandora on the phone, and reopened Pandora on
the phone, but the TMo ad didn’t come up.

I closed Pandora, opened TMo Tuesdays and clicked Redeem. It opened
Pandora and it just started playing. I tried two more times. TMo ad
didn’t come up. I reconnected the phone to the car and drove. Pandora
worked with ads.

In downtown I went to a restaurant and before leaving, I decided to try
redeeming again through TMo Tuesdays and it worked, so on my way back home
Pandora played without ads.

The point is, this perk does not work consistently or properly. I
remember at first when TMo initially offered this perk, Pandora would
consistently present a TMo ad on weekends. Now it rarely appears and the
suggested workaround of going through TMo Tuesdays to redeem does not work
always.

Opened and closed Pandora four times, no “Start TMobile free weekend” offer pops up.  Went through TMo Tuesday to redeem and Pandora just opens and starts playing without offering to start a free weekend.   It does not work.   Also we only have 16 days left to redeem TMo offer so this option will go away but from what I understand the free weekends should last through 4/30/22. Therefore we will have to rely on Pandora offering the popup which it doesn’t .  Thank you
