iOS: Stations are missing and random stations being added

I have three separate problems to report.

1.) About a week ago I noticed my favorite station had disappeared from my stations.  This station had a custom name and I had added a lot of variety over the years. I attempted to rebuild my missing favorite station with a different custom name but after just a couple of days it also went missing.  I logged into the website to see if was an issue with my phone and the station is not available there either.  Its like an old friend just died, I'm super bummed out.

2.) I also noticed that I had 250ish stations that I didn't create.  Some looked correct but most did not.  No idea where they came from.  No one added them using my phone.

3.) when using the app (iOS 13.3.1) I do not have the ability to create stations....just no idea where it could be no options from the My Collection screen at all.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing these issues.

  • Regarding the stations missing and being added to your account, it sounds like someone else could be logged into your account without your permission, especially if you're noticing changes that you didn't make to your collection.
  • You should be able to create stations from your iOS device without any issues. I would recommend running through these steps to see if it helps. 📲
    • Then, try creating a station using this article from our help page.

I am having the same issue, my favorite stations I have created have been getting interrupted mid songs with stations I have never created or with artists I dislike. No one else uses my Pandora or even knows my password. How do I remedy this issue?

Can you tell me a little more about what is happening?

  • What is the make and model of the device this is happening on?
    • If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
      • A Mac or Windows computer?
      • Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
  • Which station(s) has this happened? If this occurrs on multiple stations, can you give me an example of one that you've recently experience this on?
  • Have there been any error message or notifications? If so, can you let me know what it says?

I opened my phone today and pandora added "happy radio" without asking.

I deleted that from my collection since I do not know what that is.   I think this is a bug.

Could you share a couple more details?

Did you click on a push notification and then the station showed up in your collection?

Or, did this station show up your collection when you simply launched the app?

I believe I clicked on a notification to see what it was.  It was an unknown symbol so I was trying to see what it was.  It launched Pandora and added the station without confirmation.
