Pandora won't play on cellular data in the car. It plays one song and goes into continous buffering. I also don't have any offline stations.
I have tried all the troubleshooting tips I could find on this site and still no luck. I have turned data off & on, deleted and reinstalled the app and rebooted the phone.
Phone: iPhone 7 running ios 13.6
Carrier: T-mobile
Pandora: version 2007-2
This has been going on for a couple of weeks and I need my music.

@rgc0233 We have received additional reports about buffering on iOS devices. Thanks so much for the screenshot - I've reported this buffering issue over to our engineering team. 🎧
@rgc0233 Nice to see you around the Community. 👋🏽
Would it be possible to send us a screenshot of the buffering message you are seeing when you attempt to stream your stations?
Additionally, are you only experiencing this issue with Pandora?
Have you tried streaming other apps such as YouTube?
If not, please try launching the YouTube app and let me know if you experience similar issues there as well.
Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝
As it turns out, data is not working with anything. Changed Sim cards and still nothing. Thanks for the tip.
@rgc0233 Thanks for the follow up.
Could you clarify your last message a bit? Cellular data doesn't work with any of your apps or just Pandora?
A new version of the Pandora app was released recently. Have you updated to 2008.1 yet?
Let me know, and I can still report this over to our engineering team on your behalf.
Cellular data isn't working, at all. I haven't updated the app, but will do so. I think Apple is the next stop.
Thanks for confirming! @rgc0233
Feel free to keep me updated on your progress. 👍
I have downloaded the latest versions of Pandora and ios. I also downloaded the Apple Music app which plays fine on cellular. Pandora still not working.
@rgc0233 Thanks so much for the update.
Can you please send me a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing when you attempt to listen via cellular?
To take a screenshot on an iPhone 8 (or earlier) or an iPad or iPod touch:
Press and hold the lock button (the button on the top right side) and the home button (the circular button on the bottom of your device) at the same time.
Appreciate your help with this.
This all I get. It doesn’t even offer off-line stations.

I also have this issue, and nothing on here helps. I have tried everything.
And it only started recently.
@Dahja19 Since it sounds like you have already ran through our suggested troubleshooting steps, I would like to report this issue to our engineers.
Could you tell me more about your device?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?
Additionally, can you please send me a screenshot of the buffering message you are seeing?
Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝
I finally have it fixed. I was online with my carrier's tech support trying different things and I'm not sure what the fix was. Again, we did the re-boot, network reset and other things I had done before with no results. The last thing we tried was to turn off data and re-boot. I forgot to turn cell data back on until 24 hours later and when I did it started working.
@rgc0233 Glad to hear things are back up and running again.
If this continues to be an issue down the line, please make sure to reach back out to us and let us know.
Enjoy the music! 😎
Why is my pandora suddenly not working when I am using data? It’s fine if I’m on WiFi but otherwise the music won’t come on. Yes, my phone is updated, the app is updated, I have checked that my cellular data is on and that it’s switched on for pandora as well, I have deleted and re-uploaded the app, turned my phone off and on, etc.

Hey there, @Esuzzie. 👋
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I completely understand how frustrating this must be.
Since you've gone through the standard troubleshooting steps, I'd like to report this over to our engineering team. Could you tell me more about your device?
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?
Any error messages? If so, what exactly does it say?
Let me know. 🎧
My phone will not play Pandora over cellular data. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps.
Other streaming services work just fine.
iPhone 12 Pro Max
iOS 14.4
Pandora version 2101.1
Carrier AT&T w/ Unlimited Plan
I don’t know if this will help, but the last thing I tried, when I had this issue, was to turn off data and reboot. I forgot to turn data back on until the next day, but when I did, it worked!
I've tried that. Didn't work.
