iOS: Songs Skip Through Rapidly Without Playing

My iOS pandora app is shuffling through songs in rapid succession but playing none. Shuffling through 2 per second in its own. I have rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Help!!!!

Sorry to hear that this is happening. Sounds like you've run through the standard troubleshooting steps here: iOS Troubleshooting

I would like to report this issue to our engineers. Could you tell me more about your device?

  • Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone X, iPad Air (3rd gen), etc.)
  • Carrier:
  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
  • Have any error messages popped up? If so what exactly does it say?
  • Lastly, does this happen when you're in Offline Mode?

  • so I’ve been listening to five finger Death Punch after life a lot and today when I opened up my app it wasn’t in my recently played and if I search for the album it comes up without the album artwork and when I hit a song to play it skips through all the songs and keep starting on the same one   It won’t play you like 80% of the songs

Problem corrected I re installed the app. It was on my iPhone. Separate question…. Have the problems with the desktop version of pandora for Mac been fixed. Will be available directly from the App Store now is it still going to be an unsactioned app from the internet?

Glad to hear you were able to do the troubleshooting steps on your iPhone, which helped with the song skipping issue.

For the Desktop App:

The Pandora Desktop application is available directly the Apple App Store or the Microsoft Windows Store download.

There is an existing feature suggestion for Windows here: Non-Windows Store Windows Desktop App
