Day 4 Heat abnormal (feat. flower) by hyozan This is a cover of the original song Heat Abnormal by Iyowa, using Adachi Rei! The original isn't on Pandora, sadly, but the Nightcord at 25:00 cover is on here as well! ^^; I really love this cover, as it uses my favorite Vocaloid, vflower, in a song I enjoy! The way hyozan tunes flower in this is really good in my opinion compared to how other producers (like Guchiry or shino, who tune them like... really, really high pitched when their voice is powerful, androgynous, and not meant for that) tune them, and uh starting from 3:05 to the end just I can't explain it but it gives me joy and makes my brain happy >< Maybe it's an ADHD thing, I don't know :') Their voice actually sounds slightly frantic and almost emotional in the very last parts, and that's just impressive to me as well... flower's a voicebank! Day 2! Don't Throw Out My Legos by AJR I had to resist with all my might to not put another Trickle song two days in a row :') This song is one that I've been listening to pretty often recently!! I personally relate to the lyrics in where... like... I want to become more independent and a more capable human being and mature, but at the same time, I don't want to grow up and, like, experience adulthood. Day 1! Literary Nonsense by Trickle I just really like this song! It's an English cover of a Vocaloid/j-singer song! There are two original songs: Nansensubungaku (feat. Hatsune Miku) by Eve, which is the Vocaloid version, and Nonsense Bungaku by Eve (Japan), which is the one sang by Eve himself. I love this cover, as it's by ny favorite singer, Trickle! He has an amazing voice, and is absolutely amazing at translating Japanese lyrics to English! Unlike some other singers who do this, called utaites or youtaites, he prioritizes how the lyrics sound when sung, instead of getting an exact translation. His lyrics have wonderful flow, and sound as if it were the original song, and not just a cover! I've been (maybe a bit obsessively) reading the manga series Tokyo Ghoul, and I'm currently on the sequel series, Tokyo Ghoul:re! I really enjoy it, and it's probably one of my favorite books of all time to be honest ^^; I can't find a good label for what genre it is, but it's kind of a mix of uh.. mild horror (ish? there's cannibalism, murder, torture, blood/gore, etc.), tragedy, there's some action, uhh... yeah. I have to say it'd be awesome if Trickle was super popular, as he's probably my favorite singers. (stuff after this is just Trickle appreciation ;v;) He makes awesome covers of Vocaloid, j-rock, and j-pop songs which I actually really love compared to other English cover artists, because he is really talented at translating the lyrics! There's proper flow to the songs, and they aren't clunky; I actually once was convinced a cover of his was an original once ^^; Trickle also makes EPIC original songs!! He actually has something called Project Ghost Town, which is basically a big story he tells through song, music videos, and even books! His first light novel releases sometime this month I believe... Anyways, he's just a really talented singer in general!! He has a very expressive voice, with a pretty wide vocal range— to the point where some of my friends have thought he was a girl :') But uh yeah ^^; He's also just a really nice and kind person : D Oh, fun fact!
