This is a hard one, but I encourage you to listen to singer-songwriter Lori McKenna. She's a phenomenal songwriter (Tim McGraw's "Humble & Kind"), but she's a really great singer, too, and has many, many albums of her own. Her last album, The Balladeer , is one of my personal favorites. Go check it out.
