@chosephAfter ditching Pandora, we signed up for a Spotify family plan. My wife and I can both listen to our own stations at the same time. We can't both listen to the same account, however, which I think is what you're saying. More importantly, Spotify apps make it trivial to switch accounts across every device we've used -- and their phone / device integration is great. I admit the "real" Spotify hasn't been too satisfying for me, but their alternate Stations app is more or less what Pandora used to be and is what I use 99% of the time. Way back when Pandora was new, you could actually email the developers directly -- I tried many times to get them to add "live" as one of the "music genome" categories, hoping that Pandora would be smart enough to recognize that I always thumb those down. It isn't even a case of "can't" get this functionality, they literally removed this functionality. They spent time and money to intentionally make this unavailable. Out of all the bugs, service availability issues, and legitimate feature requests that could have benefited from that effort, some group sat down and made the decision to prioritize a change making this very expensive service less useful to their paying customers. Shared stations aren't a solution because you can't thumb-up/down content, and with the recent Sony takeover and the decline in the quality of "similar titles" so they can push their catalog, I am very definitely using thumb-down more than ever. It is absolutely ridiculous that my wife and I are the only two people on a six-slot Family Plan, yet I can't hop in the car to go to the store and listen to Pandora because she happens to be listening to my station at home. Additionally, since no Pandora UI on any device makes it remotely easy to switch between multiple accounts, it's not reasonable to expect one of us to change accounts temporarily.
