I just came back to Pandora after years of Slacker Radio(Live One) and I was hoping to get something similar.  The custom stations are great, but the algorithm becomes unstable.  I create a station from 4 artists that are pretty similar in genre.  All was going great for awhile, playing mostly those artists and playing new ones that made sense.  I was careful to use the thumbs up/down appropriately.  After awhile it started playing some artists that made no sense to fit in that type of music and I thumbs down them and then the algorithm started to become unstable and 'My Station' ONLY plays music from WAAAAY out of left field.  I thumbs down about 200 so far and still not one of the artists in my seed artists will play.  The other Modes seem OK, but I don't want only 'My Artists' all the time. It's not how I want this to work. Also, what would be REALLY helpful would be to ban artists from a custom station and not just a song and better more granular control of how much you'd like favorites play among other artibutes.  See how LiveOne works.  I really want to like this, but it's not usable to me as it is.
