Pandora does not care, about anything other than their bottom line feeding their checkbooks. Period I’ve been with Pandora since very nearly when they first got onto the scene and I tried to have a couple conversations with them when they first started getting really ad heavy many years ago, And the Customer Service who got back to me was a condescending schmuck and could’ve cared less that I was close to being an OG listener of their platform and to be clear, I did not act as though I was deserving of some sort of special treatment or any of that nonsense just because I had been with them for a long time, I did originally start trying to communicate with them on a very humanistic level as at the time I was on this huge anti-corporate blah blah blah trip so I really did try to have a conversation about providing a service without making it more about the money than the music, just wanted to make that clear before I went on.. And one last thing cause this is part of an edit. I’m having to voice type at the moment there may be some typos or errors I apologize if there are, I’m not able to prove this before I post so I appreciate folks patience, and understanding. I quit Pandora for a long, long time after that and I use them on and off now, but I try not to because then we were supposed to have a year of uninterrupted music as T-Mobile customers and they completely burned myself and many others on that despite reaching out to them and asking for them to correct it as far as I’m aware, money exchange hands between the two companies, but the customers themselves just simply lost out and that was pretty much it for me, I left again for a very long time and the only reason I came back to. It was significant medical issues that kept me locked away at home but here I am today. I just turned off some of my own music and I turned Pandora on and within an hour I’ve listened to 15 commercials just think about that, 15 commercials and actually about an hour and 05 according to my clock. It never used to be this bad and there’s no reason at all Pandora cannot make good profit margins with less ads and the subscriptions they have, it’s simply about the fact that they just want to earn more and more money regardless of how un enjoyable it makes the listing experience for the rest of us so I randomly worded in a complaint to Google search came up on this thread and figured I just leave a response here for anybody else that might be searching, Pandora play it off as much as you want you can’t just keep telling the customer the same darn thing over and over and let it keep getting worse, but still expect us to believe that you care about our enjoyment. I absolutely agree that the company is absolutely trying to push people into subscriptions but, you also don’t care cause you’re still making money off the ads. well, as an OG dude who’s been here a long time, you guys stink, and I might flip you on every once in a while, but you sure a sec aren’t the folks I’m gonna use as my regular music streamer just can’t handle the fat cats squeeze in every drop they can out of those of us out here trying to be loyal customers, take your golden parachutes and do us a favor and try to use them on a skydiving attempt would you
