My mother passed away recently and I had pandora playing in the background throughout the day. We listened to one of her favorite stations, Jose Jose radio - full of nostalgic, romantic ballads. I remember feeling very comforted by the song that played while I held her hand and stroked her hair as she took her last peaceful breath. I cannot however, remember the song. I didn't even think about it again until weeks later when things slowed down.  It would be nice to be able to search listening history based on date and even a specific time frame. Maybe a feature like this could help others put a song to something meaningful in their lives, such as a first kiss, receiving good news, receiving sad news, hanging with loved ones in the kitchen, a soundtrack for living life in general. As painful as it was to lose her, the faint music around us was truly beautiful.
