Good grief this is one of the top requested features and is almost 4 years old. pandora premium/family costs as much as equivalent plans on Spotify or Apple Music. Those apps have 3x the feature set and have grown in maturity year after year, yet somehow in a half decade Pandora launches modes and that’s about it. if Apple Music put any effort whatsoever into customizing Radio Stations Pandora would be buried.

I am so ready to ditch Pandora with this issue. I use CarPlay, drive through a cellular dead zone 4x a day. Once I go through Pandora is just clueless. Won’t revert to offline mode, just stays stuck buffering and I’m lucky if it ever resumes playback unless I switch stations or force close it.

I listen to Pandora on at least 6 totally different devices (homepods, sonos speakers, home theater, tvs, apple watch, car infotainment). There are some scenarios where those devices are easily accessed by kids (homepods, televisions). However, the current account setting to enable/disable explicit content is account-wide. So, I have to choose from blocking kids rom accidentally playing something explicit on the TV and I don't get to hear adult music everywhere else I am. I would like the explicit content filter switch to have an all on/off, but also a per-device on/off. That way I can set the apple tv pandora app to not allow explicit content, but my personal iPhone the kids never use I can listen to whatever I want, without constantly toggling my account level filter.

Frustrating they haven't committed to this yet. Pandora was on the forefront of streaming radio stations, and now - is it actually the only one left without a HD quality tier?

Alyssa, Network: Wifi is connected (no issues), also connected to a Thunderbolt 3 dock which is wired via ethernet (to the same network as wifi). Yes Pandora streams fine in the browser. The app works too just isn't readable. If you could pass a hint onto your engineering team, I suspect there is a hardware/graphics problem with the app's hardware acceleration. Additionally, I have a 2013 13" MacBook Pro on MacOS Big Sur and it doesn't have this issue.

I have a MacBook Pro 16" connected via thunderbolt to a Belkin Pro dock then to a DisplayPort monitor. When I install and run Pandora 15.0.3 it runs normally. If the MacBook sleeps and I resume, the Pandora and only Pandora app comes up badly pixelated and blocky. Reseting/reinstalling the app does not help. If I reboot the app is fine until the Mac sleeps. I checked with Apple support and they indicated because no other apps are doing this, start with Pandora. So, tag Pandora - you're it. macOS Catalina 10.15.6.

Agreed on this as well. Tidal, Amazon, and Spotify all have published higher bitrates. Apple music is arguably somewhere in the middle but considered greater than Pandora's upper end. Given the partnership with vehicle manufacturers and Sonos the premium market is a great way to also increase sales and market penetration.

For the love of god, please do this. Pandora is the ONLY music app that does this.
