I cancelled my Pandora account, switched to paid Spotify, and no more auto-play on launch! Seems like such a luxury to have this option after being frustrated with Pandora every time I opened the app. Was much easier than I expected to move my music over.

Just cancelled my paid Pandora subscription after over a year of waiting for this feature (and 90 "likes" for this feature request). So sad, as I love many other things about Pandora. Seems ridiculous, but time to give Spotify a spin, just so I can have music *not* play when I open the app.

@lukuskywalker that is so funny -- I cancelled my Netflix subscription for the same reason. They now allow users to turn it off, but they lost my business. And if Pandora doesn't fix this, I'm switching to Spotify.

@bobtherr1 -- I have checked for updates, and have the latest version, and do not have this option under advanced settings. Just sent an email to Pandora support asking them why you have it and I don't, and they said it is not a feature yet. So I'm confused as to why you're seeing it.

Please add me to this request -- when I open Pandora, I am usually not wanting to listen to what I was listening to last time I logged in, so my first task is to wait for music to start playing, then hit "Pause," then do my search. Would love an "off" button for this.
