Has been happening ever since I upgraded from Pixel 2 to Pixel 4a two weeks ago (never happened on my Pixel 2). So whenever I shut off my screen or it times out, Pandora crashes approx 3 minutes later. Went through a series of possible fixes with Pixel support including clearing cache and data on Pandora and Play Store, updated Android Webview, uninstalled updates, forced stop on Pandora, uninstalled and reinstalled Pandora, etc. In the end, they said it must be a Pandora problem. This makes sense since none of my other apps are crashing after screenlock.

Hi @4corsa! Thanks for posting.
Looks like you may have reached out to our User Support team pretty recently for some help. I do see that they passed your info along to our engineering team for further investigation.
I don't have any other troubleshooting steps to offer, except, I would check on any battery settings for your Pixel. These settings at times can cause performance issues or interfere with playback when the app is backgrounded.
Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of Android devices, I'm not able to provide step by step instructions for each device. I recommend looking up the steps to manage battery optimization for the specific make and model of your device and disable this for the Pandora app.
Thanks Tanner. I was able to find the battery optimization in the Pandora app. It was turned on, so I turned it off, and tried Pandora again. Unfortunately, it did not work, the app still crashed about 2 minutes after turning off the screen.
