Hi @jagpitt17!

Welcome to community, sorry for any trouble in your vehicle.

Can you tell me a little more about your devices and experience:

Vehicle:

  • What is the make, model and year of your vehicle
  • Are you using an aftermarket stereo or stock?
    • If it's aftermarket, can you let me know the make and model?
  • How is your phone connected? Bluetooth or USB?
  • Is your vehicle equipped with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?

Mobile:

  • What is the make and model of your phone?
  • Can you let me know the Pandora version you're on? Let me know if you need help finding that.

Have you experienced a similar audio issue when connected to other devices?

Thanks for the help!

2014 Malibu LTZ

Connected through Bluetooth but also happens if I use the cable.

Galaxy A14 5G phone

Does stock mean original equipment?  It's original.

Only happens with Pandora.

Radio, XM, and CD sound normal.

Tried changing phone's charging to 100%. Still happens.

Don't know which Pandora version.

Hi @jagpitt17!

Thanks for the info. I've enabled a trace to help me investigate. Please try to use Pandora like you normally would.

I'd like to start with some basic troubleshooting to begin with while the trace is enabled. Let's try the following:

From your Android Settings, please try clearing the Pandora app data using the following steps (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you):*

  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Tap Apps
  3. Scroll down to find Pandora
  4. Select Storage
  5. On the storage details page tap Clear Data.

Please note that you will be asked to log into your account after completing these steps.

Once you're logged back in, try connecting to your Malibu, specifically with the USB, and try again. Let me know how it goes.

Use your mobile device only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.

Sorry to hear that this is still happening, @jagpitt17.

I'd like to pass this over to our engineering teams for further investigation. Can you let me know:

  • Which Android version you're on? (Settings > About Phone)
  • Which Pandora version you're on? (go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number.)
  • Carrier:

Thanks for the help.
