CarPlay: Auto-Play does not work

Auto play does not work on CarPlay with iPhone 15plus. It plays only my collection.

Thanks for posting your experience to community. I tested AutoPlay with my own CarPlay and wasn't able to reproduce on my end. Auto-Play started after my playlist and album ended.

To help further investigate let's gather some additional info.

  • What is your Pandora version?
  • What is your OS version?

Additionally, you'll want to be sure that Auto-Play is enabled from Settings within the Pandora app on your iPhone. You can double check these settings by visiting Profile > Settings > Advanced > AutoPlay.

If you've noticed this happening on a particular playlist, I would start the playlist and then scroll to the bottom of the playlist to ensure that AutoPlay is enabled there. AutoPlay can be disable or enabled on Individual playlists even if the app setting is set to enable.

In the meantime, I've also enabled a trace on your account. If AutoPlay is enabled and everything looks good, the next time this happens in your car, let me know the date, time and time zone and I can take a closer look.

This is happening to

me as well. I have the most recent upgrade on iPhone and Pandora. I have issues with my 22 Bronco as well as my 22 suburban it is soooo annoying

Hi @Plantladyantics 

I took a look at your account and see that you are a free ad supported user. AutoPlay is available to Premium user only. When an album or playlist ends, AutoPlay keeps the music going by taking over and playing similar content.

It sounds like you may be having an issue with playback stopping when listening to Pandora. Can you tell me more about your experience.

  • Does this only happen when in the car, or when connected to other devices?
  • Are you connected to CarPlay wireless or with a USB?
  • What is your Pandora version?
  • What is your iOS version?
