The last several days music suddenly stops playing and has to be manually started again, there's no continuous playing. Some songs stop midway through and can't be restarted. Anybody notice that too?
mod edit: updated title for clarity
@SurfCity Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?
Thanks for working with me on this.
I have the same issue, have tried all options, including cycling wifi many times. I've been a subscriber for years and this always happens. All pcs, laptops, browsers, versions, etc... This is definitely something on pandora side. I can play continuously on other services ... What's up?
Moderator Edit: Format
I am listening on my desktop computer. The problem never happened before. I'm using chrome, as I have for many years. It's an HP bought brand new a few years ago.
And when I refresh and press play again it plays a bit then just stops and the same error message appears. Pandora is virtually unusable to me now at home. It works fine in the car, however, but home is where I like to listen most.

@SurfCity I recommend running through the following troubleshooting steps if you haven't already done so: Chrome Troubleshooting
Let me know how it goes.
@GILLERAN t sounds like the issue may be related to the network you're using to connect to Pandora if this is happening across all devices and browsers.
Please try connecting your device directly via an Ethernet cable and see if that helps.
If there is no change, try rebooting your connection:
If Pandora still isn't working, could you check if you're able to connect to your network using another streaming service, such as YouTube?
You might also try connecting your device to an entirely different network, or using a different device on your current network, to see if your streaming improves.
Let me know how it goes!
This issue has existed on Pandora since I became a paid member many years ago. So, a cold boot won't help. Streaming is continuous on other streaming services like YouTube and Spotify. Only cuts out on Pandora.
Can you tell me more about this @GILLERAN ?
Is this happening only on your computer or on the app on your phone too? Also, can you tell me if you have tried using the desktop app and if this happens there too?
Also, to verify the information, is it happening while listening to music? Does it happen when you go to "My Profile"? Is this happening when trying to play any specific content like a Podcast or Podcasts in general, a Playlist or Playlists in general, etc?
Let me know.
This wasn't always a problem but about three months ago, after a song or three song or even in the middle of a song, the Pandora app stops playing. This is on my computer. It can't be the cache I cleaned it. I have hard wire to mu computer. I get the message Something has gone wrong. We're working on this issue, and we'll have things back to normal soon.
@bradyates To clarify, does this issue happen across browsers?
If you haven't already done so, can you please try streaming Pandora on a different browser and let me know if you experience the same issues there?
I appreciate you working with me on this.
I've been having this problem for a few months now. Work PC, home PC, Google TV, they all give the same message in as little as a few seconds into a song or as late as a couple songs in:
"Something has gone wrong. We're working on this issue, and we'll have things back to normal soon."
I've tried logging out and back in. I've tried clearing caches (where applicable). Same issue.
Never happens on my phone though.
There's another post with a similar complaint, but I'll add my response here, too.
This issue has happened to me starting a few months ago. Work PC, Home PC, Google TV, happens to them all. I've tried resetting the network, changing networks, resetting caches, logging out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling the app (in the case of the Google TV), doesn't matter, all have been experiencing the same thing.
Never happens on my phone, though.
I'm like 99% convinced that this is problem with Pandora, and not with me or any of my systems.
Is it giving you this comment?

If so, there's a lot of people experiencing this lately.

Hi @omegatek2 , sorry for the trouble.
Can you tell me more about this? Is this happening:
Let me know!
It happens while I am simply playing and looking at the "Now Playing" tab. It also happens while I'm looking at a playlist and trying to play music. I'm not doing anything fancy, going to my profile page or shuffling, etc. This is just "play the album or playlist", and it will randomly stop and display this message.
Sometimes I can get it to work again by hitting previous or next track, rarely by hitting play again, often by going to the playlist and selecting a new song from the list, and sometimes by refreshing the page. But it will fail again, its just randomizing when it will fail.

I have noticed that, when I disabled analytical and advertising cookies, the stability modestly improved. I can now seem to more or less reliably get through a song or two before it fails.
I think the problem is in how Pandora handles cookies. Y'all might wanna go look into that.

Can you tell me more about your device or devices where this is happening?
- What is the make and model?
- What happens when you open Pandora?
- Is there an error message (if yes, what exactly does it say)?
In the meantime, if you haven't, please try the steps from the links below:
- For your Google Chrome browser, please try out these steps.
- If you prefer Firefox, please run through these steps.
- If you're using Edge, please use these steps.

So uh, no offense, but this is feeling like an AI-bot answer. I already explained what kinds of devices I was using and what error message I was getting--it's the same one posted at the beginning of this thread. And those troubleshooting links don't seem to go anywhere, just a blank page with an AI chatbot.
I've cleared cache and changed browsers and it still gives me this same message mid song. I used to listen to music through my work computer on Edge browser and this started up a week or so ago. I tried using Chrome and it's doing the exact same thing. I can't even get through a full song.
It's happening across browsers for me. I tried clearing cache and then switched from Edge to Chrome. Same issues. I can't get through a full song without the music stopping and I get this message.
Same thing started happening to me several weeks ago after I upgraded my service to the premium family plan. I've got the same problem on both Chrome and Edge. I'm paying Pandora almost $200/yr...Pandora owes me some money.
AND, when I try to contact support via eMail, I get a blank white screen w/a stupid chat box in the lower right corner...NOT any eMail support or eMail form fill. Nothing!
Same issue here. Honestly, I'm not going to keep paying for Pandora if I can't use it. I'll just switch to YouTube Premium, Apple, Spotify... there's so many options, I can't even list them all. Hell, CDs would be better than this garbage.
