New Feature Idea: Create Rules about what bands you never want to hear.  If I select a Genre but there are certain bands I never want to hear, there should be a way to create a rule. i.e. I select the 70's Rock Genre but I never want to hear any music from Sting, Rush, Styx, Journey, Kiss, etc.  then allow me to create a rule eliminating them fron the selection algorithm.

Having some amount of control over the Music DNA of your station would make this a lot easier.

Perhaps there could be hard limits on what is and is not in bounds.

Yes please, please, please give us who pay for premium to completely delete/block an artist from ever playing on our accounts. I'm a chef and we listen to all sorts of music in the kitchen. I use my account, because I hate ads, and I like my music. I also let the crew use my pandora, so I don't have to listen to the ads. What comes with this is a ton of modern reggeaton. That in and of it's self is ok. A lot of it has great beat, and pleasant to listen to. Once you get into the really new stuff you get to the NO TALENT **ahem** CLOWN know as bad bunny. The dude absolutely **ahem**!!! All of the muted back beats, and synth cymbals all sound essentially the same. Then throw in the fact that he can't even make his own noises. Everything that comes out of his mouth is auto tuned. I'm pretty sure a deaf person could sing (I use that term as loosely as possible) than this NOT TALENT **ahem** BUNNY! Please allow us to block specific artists from our accounts. We pay for your service. Now give us what we want. That's all Thank you!

Pandora offers music by Kenny Klein. The copyright of many - if not all - of those songs belongs to his ex-wife Tzipora Katz, as Klein died in prison earlier this year.

Why was Klein in prison? On March 25, 2014, agents of the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit executed a search warrant at Kenny Klein's residence and seized a computer that contained 20 videos showing minor children engaged in sexually explicit activities.

On April 6, 2017, after a three-day jury trial, Klein was convicted of one count of pornography involving a juvenile under age 13, and 19 counts of possession with intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles under age 17. He was sentenced to twenty years in prison, fined $2,500 and ordered that, upon release, he wear an electronic ankle monitor for the rest of his life.

On 13 July 2020 it was reported on a Neopagan website and in various places on social media that on Saturday, 11 July 2020, Klein died in prison of pancreatic cancer.

You are promoting a pedophile. Please remove all of Kenny Klein's music from Pandora.

Kenny Klein should not be revered for his music. He should be condemned for being a pedophile.

I honestly get pissed off when I'm listening to girl rappers and R. K*lly and Chr*s Br*wn start playing. There should be an option to block literal violent criminals. Pandora stopped promoting R. Kelly's music (they should have removed it but whatever). Why can't they do the same for Chris Brown? I'm tired of him popping up on my stations. He's a violent person who beats women. I don't want his music played on my stations!!!!

I don't think this is something that has ever been mentioned in the works, but I've always thought it would be useful - a way to block or generally stop a specific artist from showing up on a station WITHOUT downvoting their songs there. There is a band or two where their actual style exactly matches what I want for the station, but I'm not a fan of the band themselves for various reasons (e.g. - the vocalist has a specific sound that I absolutely can't stand). I have downvoted some of their music in the past but don't want to do it every time they come up, as stylistically they match the station. I'm afraid too many downvotes would start twisting the station away from the style I want by telling Pandora I don't like it. My distaste is based on a subjective opinion and not anything the algorithm would pick up.

My kids ask Alexa to Play Pandora, and sometimes it plays whatever station I'd picked last, and sometimes it plays David Banner's "Play".

The latter is highly problematic.  I need a way to exclude the artist or the song, no matter if it is a direct request or in a radio station.  Turning on the explicit restriction doesn't help with a direct song request.  I need to actually block this artist.

@AdamPandora I don't know if comments are generally reviewed when posted, but I wanted to call your attention to my post above.  Do you know of any way I can solve this problem?
