When starting the app on Android, one station is usually selected.   It is not clear what controls which station starts.  It is not the last one selected.  It would be good to be able to control which station is selected or choose Shuffle instead of trying to find Shuffle every time.

Thanks for your post, @MikeAV. We’re always looking to improve, and getting feedback like this definitely helps with that.

When listening to stations, Pandora should resume on the last station played, even in shuffle mode. Alternatively, as a Premium subscriber, if you prefer, you can disable Auto-Start from Settings. Profile > Settings > Advanced > Enable Auto-Start > Toggle to disable.

  • I think MikeAV may be experiencing same issue as me. Something is buggy about how the app reads phone connection status. Despite having both wifi and cell signal, the app randomly starts in offline mode (which is toggled to off), so it starts in the last offline station rather than shuffle or a regular station. I have to give it a beat and then switch to the actual desired station (which is shuffle 99% time). No predictability re when it will start in offline mode vs not. Definitely a detractor. Also, I prefer having autostart on; turning that off not an appealing workaround. (Running app on Galaxy S10)
