I left about a year ago. My account is still active (obviously), but I stopped listening to Pandora and laboriously ported my playlists over to that other music site. The missing year-end stats was just one indicator that Pandora isn't listening to its customer base. The Pandora algorithm is far better than Smart Shuffle (imo). But it isn't worth it for a site that gets lazy and doesn't do the smallest thing to try to hold onto customers.
I'm still getting used to Spotify.... With Pandora you just press an Artist's Radio station and it'll keep playing but with Spotify there are just set playlists. Kinda weird
This thread is 2 years old. I always know my Spotify wrap is coming because about 2 weeks before the end of December, people start posting in this thread asking if The Pandora version is going to come back.
When they made the change for Pandora, they didn't tell anyone and have never acknowledged The removal of it. So I had put my money where my mouth is and joined Spotify the following month and canceled my family Pandora subscription which I had had for 10 years.
Spotify has been awesome. There's a little bit of a learning curve because Spotify is more about you picking the music you want to listen to versus Pandora curating it based on genres and styles (Spotify will add music to your playlists after you establish what it is you want to listen to).
I'd use Pandora again if they would bring this back, but it's a matter of principle at this time.
Well pandora if there is no year in review this year I will be canceling my premium subscription of almost 10 years the last review I got said I was in the top 0.01 percent of listeners and I really miss the what I loved play lists.
There won't be a year in review this year. So if you say that you're going to cancel if there isn't going to be one, you just need to cancel. People have been saying they were going to cancel for the last 2 years if it's not brought back and here we are.
Here's the thing, if they bring it back you can always start using it again. But the only way you're going to send a real message is to cancel your Pandora subscription and tell them you're going to Spotify because of wrapped.
Another reason to end my Pandora account. Less features than it had previously, and still not matching features from other major streamers. But they added stupid badges? Who cares about generic badges? I wanted to know what my music tastes were for the year in review, not what badges the community earned.
