Pandora is better than Spotify because of the Shuffling of Stations. BUT the user interface of Spotify is a million times better than Pandora. When there is a Christmas station (on a Smart TV), they have nice Christmas themes (snowflakes and such) over the album and song info. It just adds more to the experience. The UI looks much better on Spotify. The year-end wrapped is terrible too. You can also add your photo to your profile on Spotify - you can't with Pandora for some reason. The user interface looks old and outdated on Pandora. Spotify is winning in this area for sure.

I listen to Pandora music, specifically for that reason. I'm not into flashy GUIs because they aren't of interest. 

My only suggestion would be for Pandora to offer an option of 2, 3, or 4 thumbs up numbers so that I can indicate a range of likes.

Pandora obviously doesn't GAF about their user interface. One of your requests is here, approaching its 5 year anniversary, with 11 pages (~110 comments) and 290 ❤ of people supporting it (including some moderators!)... and 🦗 from Pandora on this simple feature.
