More Download Options for Offline Listening

Why can't I go to my music collection, long press on an artist and download the songs that are under that artist for my offline listening? Instead I have to go into the artist then long press on each song or album individually!

And I also noticed phantom downloads are still a thing. I have a few artist in my collection that when I click them they have no music under them? How is that even in my library then? 

PS. Making it so the go offline/online button is now in the settings menu? Whos idea was that! How unnecessary was that chance no one asked for!

How do you download the podcast? What are the steps?

You can't download a podcast with Pandora. That's why this feature request is here. If they ever implement this feature, presumably you will download them the same way you download music: hitting the little icon with the down arrow. This icon is currently greyed out for podcasts

I have a lot of downloads for offline listening because I try not to use too much data. I recently tried to use the search feature to find a song that was downloaded but could not. I found out that you can only find specific songs if you download them individually or part of a stand-alone album. As soon as you put them in an offline playlist, they disappear. This is very inconvenient as I like to use playlists with different artists to listen to, but I don't want to scroll through hundreds of songs when there is a specific one I want to listen to while offline. This feature shouldn't take much coding I would imagine, but I could be wrong.

I was disappointed when I figured that out also, like REALLY... THE SONG IS OBVIOUSLY IN MY COLLECTION

I would like to easily be able to add songs to download for offline use when you run out of service. Or to implement an option to (when added to you list use automatically download when on WiFi or cellular).
