Here are my GSOTD choices for this Monday. Enjoy the tunes.

Rock: All I Really Want by Alanis Morissette.  https://pandora.app.link/6epTTOoJ1bb

Pop: Pocket Full Of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield.  https://pandora.app.link/55gDiNNJ1bb

The song, with its catchy “take me away” chorus, received multiple placements in commercials and TV promos. It was released as a single January 15, 2008 and reached #1 on the Billboard Dance charts and #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Pop Rock: Manhattan from the Sky by Kate Voegele.  https://pandora.app.link/OoVFdznK1bb

Jazz: Hail To The Real Chief by Miles Davis.  https://pandora.app.link/gOOLoUJK1bb

Miles Dewey Davis III was an American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. He is among the most influential and acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20th-century music. Davis adopted a variety of musical directions in a five-decade career that kept him at the forefront of many major stylistic developments in jazz.

Southern Gospel:  Tis The Old Ship Of Zion by Romance Watson.  https://pandora.app.link/rOSs4dXK1bb

Gospel singer Romance Watson was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 4, 1930 to Laura and Amos Watson. He is the youngest of three siblings. Watson graduated Fuller Elementary and Wendell Phillips High School in Chicago.  (My opinion) Romance Watson has the best male singing voice I have ever heard. If you have a chance, you should watch him sing this song on you tube.

Until tomorrow, take care and stay safe.
