While response times might be slightly delayed during the holidays, we're still here to help. Thank you for your patience, and may your holiday season be filled with joy and the music you love.
I started a station called 'Downtempo Dinner Radio'
The playlist so far:
Odesza Pretty lights (upbeat club)
Finally Moving Dubby
Kero One Groovin'
Teleopmusik Breathe
Etc.
All ootz ootz club songs.
All these songs were cool when I was 23.
I'm 36. Get a clue Pandora. Play good music. **ahem**.
mod edit: changed title for clarity
Hi there, @Farlander. 👋
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback about this station. Pandora stations adapt with every song to try to find the right music for you. It does this by using a combination of the detailed information in the Music Genome Project, the station seeds and Thumbs feedback you have given along with feedback given by other listeners under similar conditions.
There are a number of variables that come into play when selecting the next song:
The complete range of musical attributes for all of the songs we have by the artist you used to create the station. For example, for a station based on Brian Eno, you might hear rock songs and ambient music. You might try creating a station from one of the artist's songs instead (e.g. Lucky Star by Madonna). This should make the station much more specific.
To improve your stations, here are a couple of things to try:
++
If you're not feeling that station, we do have other stations you can check out:
You can also find more genre stations here: Genre Station by Activity / Mood
In the meantime, I will share your feedback regarding that station. Hope to see you around the community space more often. 🎧

I have noticed the same thing , its ridiculous I've had Chopin play on my falco station really? and the response from pandora is classic (ahem) zero accountability bs . Instead of offering to look into and fix the problem they tell you to waste your time doing things that will solve nothing and don't believe for second that this has always been this way , i've been using pandora off and on since its inception and it was way way way better then

Hi @MusicFan171! Welcome to community.
Sorry to hear you're experiencing out of place track on your Falco Radio station. I went ahead and checked your playback history for the Pandora account associated with your community profile. While I see very limited playback history, only from today, 8/17, I do see some out of place tracks.
While I can't confirm if Chopin had previously played on your station, from your listening history today, the track 'Serenade For Strings In E, Op. 22, B. 52: IV. Larghetto' by the City of Prague Philharmonic String Ensemble & Richard Hein did play.
These tracks are being suggested by the artist, Marius Müller-Westernhagen. This seed was added to your station on April 15, 2022. Unfortunately, Pandora's discography of Marius Müller-Westernhagen is limited to 12 songs from the album Prokofiev : Stage Works & Film Scores [Prokofiev Edition Vol.3] from 1994, where he performed as the narrator.
I recommend removing this seed from your station to help improve your experience. You can delete variety from your mobile device or web by editing your station.

I also suggest reviewing the remaining seeds on your station to ensure that they fit the genre and experience you're looking for.
Love songs station
I turned on Pandora today expecting to hear some love songs and one of the first songs I hear is downstairs DJ with the line of I love my **ahem** and my **ahem** love me. I’ve now had the station on for a good hour and haven’t heard a single Lovesong who is choosing the songs on here and why am I hearing Megan Thee Stallion on the love songsstation? I love my **ahem** and my **ahem** loves me is not a song I want to hear it nor do I think it is the song that needs to be on the station so disgusted😡
First, which Love Song channel are you referring to? You can easily share a link to the station in question so we can listen to hear what you are referring to. A station called Love Songs and not one love song played for an hour, is that based on how you define a love song? If you are bothered by the content of the lyrics of that one song because you feel it’s explicit, there are setting to prohibit explicit content. If you share if you are listening via a computer or phone etc, I can share how you can block explicit content.
@Cabcab17 Genre stations, such as "Today's Hits" or "Love Songs Radio" are stations created and curated by Pandora. Sometimes, they might include more mainstream artists and songs or we may make changes to the station that can result in changes to the experience you've been accustomed to. You can always use Thumbs to help guide the station you are trying to create.
As an alternative, we recommend creating your own station, using an artist or song that you think best represents a particular genre.
Additionally, you may Add Variety to the station you create, in order to include other artists or songs you'd like to influence your station.
Keep in mind, each seed you add will inspire hundreds of other songs, so a little variety goes a long way. If you don't like the direction your station is headed, you can always edit your station seeds and Thumbs through the Station Details.
That said, when you're listening from a computer, mobile device or the Sonos app, you can access Pandora Modes to customize your station experience. You can pick different modes like Crowd Faves, Discovery and Deep Cuts. Let me know if you'd like more information about that.
Hope this is helpful. Thanks for listening!
