iOS: Playback stops when screen is locked

my iPhone chess on my Music when my Screen is turned off and then when I go to the app to unpause the music, it has skipped to the very last song in my queue. I’ve tried restarting my iPhone and I’m downloading and re-downloading the app

When this happens are you connected to any other devices like a speaker? Or using AirPlay to connect to another device?

If I am connected via Bluetooth it will work fine

Thanks for the follow up. It's interesting that when connected through Bluetooth is works. I've gone ahead and passed this along to our engineering team for further investigation.
