pandora premium shuffle option on mobile device

I ALWAYS use the Pandora Shuffle feature on my mobile phone and on my connected devices.  Now that I upgraded to premium that option is now gone and only available on the desktop, or back on the free version.  I have no reason to have premium if I cannot edit my stations unless I log in to a computer.  If this feature does not get added (looks like it has been requested for well over a year), I will be dumping my Pandora Premium status.  No reason to pay money for lost features.

@samejd59 The ability to shuffle and edit your shuffle for mobile is currently a feature. 

Based on your current associated devices, it looks like this may be happening on an iPhone. So I've moved your post over to the iOS board because it sounds like you're having a support issue. 

To Shuffle and/or Edit Shuffle which stations are played during Shuffle, use the following steps:

  • Go to My Collection.
    • Pandora Premium subscribers will need to filter My Collection further by Stations. Then tap the Pencil to the right of Shuffle stations.

There, you can select or deselect which stations you'd like to appear in your Shuffle by Station or Genre. Tap Save on the top right corner of your screen when done.

To shuffle an on-demand piece of content such as an album or playlist:

  1. Go to the Now Playing screen and select the icon with intersecting arrows on the bottom of the screen to turn Shuffle on or off.
  2. When the shuffle icon is highlighted, it will shuffle all the songs from that album or playlist.

  • Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone 5c, iPod 6th gen, iPad Air2, etc.)
  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)

Thank you for the reply Tanner.  Yesterday I followed previous guidance on the threads and checked for an update to pandora within my apps, and I did not have an update available.  The pencil in previous free options did not appear in my stations.  This morning an update became available and after updating it, the pencil appeared as an option for me in my collections.  Thank you for the reply and help in the matter, it is now working!
