Greetings Pandora Community! I'm not new to the community but I've been away for a few months. I just wanted to reintroduce myself to anyone who may be new since I was last on.  I'm from South Carolina and music has always been an important part of my life since I was a young child. I listen to a variety of music with country, pop, R&B and rock from the last 42 years to the present.  While I have been away, I reached my 9 year mark in July. I started as a free member and would later upgrade. For over a year I've had the Family Premium package which is great for families.  I am quite disappointed to learn that Pandora has discontinued the Playback feature that allows you to see your top played music of the year. I don't plan on leaving Pandora over this but I'm very unhappy and would love for someone to explain why this feature was discontinued. @TexasRetroGuy  Wow! This is a tough one for me. My favorites playlist has my faves from the last 42 years. I have country, pop, R&B and rock songs from the 80s to the present. I don't know if I have a favorite era. But I suppose if I had to narrow it down that I'd say the 2010s era might be my favorite. I hope some of the others will comment on this post. @Chankla Thank you for your post. I really like the comments @MOHLovesAlaska / @AlyssaPandora  / and @Jazzlynn172005 posted.  Music has always played an important part of my life since I was a child. My maternal grandmother had a record collection of music from the 1940s, 50s and some 60s. I would stay with her some and we always listened to her music together. It taught me at an early age to love and appreciate music.  Like @AlyssaPandora mentioned, certain songs can indeed transport me to a different time and place. Country and pop are my two main genres I listen to the most but I've also got R&B and rock stations as well.
