I'm from Maryland, @TOOLIE634. Since the state is technically below the Mason-Dixon line, I can see your point about it being the first southern state. Though I know most folks tend to think of Virginia as the official start of the south. It’s cool how your sound carries traces of your roots and personal history, and how you're able to channel different emotions through your voice.
