While I was listening to my Thumbprint radio station today Fozzy came on the radio. They seem to be viewed as a bit of joke (name, Chris Jericho as a singer), but I like a number of their songs. Those dudes can all play, Jericho has a really good voice, and they put on a great live show. I think more hard rock fans would dig them, if they gave them a chance. Frank Turner is another one that I think is underrated (At least here in America). That dude writes amazing songs, and I've never quite pieced together why he isn't more popular. Looking forward to hearing what you enjoy. Casefile and Sword & Scale are two other True Crime podcasts I really like. Sword & Scale has recently had some controversy surrounding the host, but the content is usually decent. Casefile is great.

A few years ago I got to cross Metallica off of my bucket list of acts/artists I want to see live. Next week I get to cross another one off when I see Black Label Society. That will make my next top two acts on my bucket lists of concerts Nathaniel Rateliff & the Nightsweats, and Trivium. Who's on your list that you want to make sure you see before you kick the bucket.

Big fan... My mom had a rule growing up that she didn't care what type of music I listened to as long as she approved of the lyrics. Mylon & Broken Heart and Degarmo & Key were my introduction to a rock sound. Soon after I found the Vinyl of Stryper's In God We Trust album, and it was all downhill from there. Styper soon brought me to bands like Bloodgood, Guardian, and Holy Soldier. I then I found Deliverance, Tourniquet, Vengeance/Vengeance Risings Die Happy, Randy Rose/Rose (Who's new album Songs for the Ritually Abused is amazing), and more. Next stop was bands like Demon Hunter, Zao, Becoming the Archetype, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, War of Ages, For Today and more. That doesn't even count Christian punk, ska, rock, hard rock, rap and more. I've also been lucky enough to see number of those bands (Both new and old) in concert. However of all the concerts I've ever been to the Stryper's 30th Anniversary tour for To Hell with the Devil was by far the loudest I've ever been two. Ears were muffled and rang for a full week after that show. I listen to pretty much everything nowadays, but often head back to that era to hear old favorites.

My Pandora is connected to my Amazon Echo devices. Because of that my young son often adds stations based on one or two songs. He's not interested in actually having the list, he just wants to year the song. As a result I frequently find myself "culling the heard" so to speak and deleting stations I don't actually want or need. I would love to see an option to select multiple stations at once to delete them. mod edit: changed title for clarity

Who have been gateway musicians that have widened your tastes? I discovered Frank Turner when he opened up for the Dropkick Murphys. Based on liking him I've gotten recommendation for Gary Clark Jr. and Skinny Lister. Through Gary Clark Jr. I found Nathanial Rateliff and the Nightsweats. Eventually through liking Skinny Lister, I discovered the Dead South, The Devil Makes 3 and the Bridge City Sinners. All of which are amazing. Demon Hunter made me aware of Killswitch Engage, and I love listening to them now. Who has lead you to new music you've loved?

I'm absolutely loving these two songs from Killswitch Engage's new album. There's a lot of other great music on Atonement, but theses two stand out for me.
