Collaboration from Distance

For me, one of the coolest aspects of recording is collaboration, and modern DAWs allow you to connect with people that aren't even close to you. I've collaborated with a guy from Nashville and I'm in Arizona. It's been so much fun contributing tracks to his songs as he contributes to mine. Anyone else actively connecting with musicians from other areas or even countries?

Yes I actually collaborated with Z CAR M in Germany pretty cool when you
live in Georgia in the US. Always open to other artists as well.

I'm in Arizona too. I've done several collaborations with a guy in Grosse Pointe, MI, and then with another artist in Paris, France.

I reconnected with an old bandmate who lives in Nashville. We have different DAWs, but it's so easy to swap stems. It's been awesome.

Nice! I like collaborating because it takes me out of my bubble. I love hearing different ideas and sounds. I get more excited about hearing my partner's new stuff than my own.
