Hello everyone, I've been here for a while but I never introduced myself. So here's a little bit about me... My name is Maria Davis, and I'm an Emmy nominated, multiple award winning music and film producer. My music is best described as electronic chillout, with hints of new age, ambient and trance. I combine a perfect balance of lush instrumentals and great beats to bring listeners on a musical journey with each song. My passion for music came at a young age when I was first introduced to the music of Vangelis. Raised in a small town in Arizona, access to music instruction and lessons were non-existent. As a result, I taught myself how to play other artists music on a small keyboard, eventually branching out to make my own compositions. Before producing music professionally, I worked in film and aerial cinematography, which I still do today. I earned a degree in film and production and created my production company, Totality Films. It was my work with aerial cinematography that brought me back to music production. Official music videos are typically filmed and directed by me, which have resulted in several awards and nominations. I've been humbled that my music has gained attention from other artists, and because of that, I've had multiple collaborations with the electronic/new age artist, 7and5. Other collaborators include Anita Barbereau, Chris Tinard, Michael Goodluck, and the late vocalist, KC Lyon. With each new release, I explore different sounds and techniques to bring my music to new heights. Each album has it's own unique vibe that transport listeners to a new place, while keeping the "sound" of my music intact.
