Hello, I have been tagging my new release on Instagram nearly every day in my stories. The first time around I got a like from Pandora Amp, but nothing was shared in their stories like they usually do, and I assumed that if it's reposted in the Pandora Amp stories that means it will be on the Fresh Cuts playlist? Not sure. Anyway, I still don't have an addition to the fresh cuts playlist, and that playlist really helps with discovery. I've never had a problem being added before. Is there something wrong? My new release is titled "Fill The Sky With Stars", and I was tagging the title track. Any help with this would be very much appreciated! Thank you so much!

It's been nearly another month since I was told I would be contacted shortly, and nobody has reached out to me. Look, I love Pandora, it's my favorite platform, but this is very disheartening to never hear back with an update or anything. It's been nearly 5 months since I first brought up this issue!! Why do I not get notifications of a song being added to a playlist, and why are my programming placements not showing any of the playlists I'm in except for Fresh Cuts? I can look at any given track and see that the songs are in editorial placements, ones with the pandora logo in the top left of the thumbnail. This has been an issue that has apparently been going on for years on my end, and it wasn't until November of last year that I realized that I should have been seeing them under programming placements. I was told that "An editorial programming should lead to a "Programming Placement" directly from someone at Pandora named Chris, who has been replying to my inquiries, but nothing has gone any further than that. Will somebody, anybody, help me please???

It would be great to have a Pandora year in review just like Spotify and other places have. I know last year my stats went through the roof, and I actually made my own rewind of the year. However, to have a Pandora created one would be very special, and I know so many artists out there would agree.
What does everyone else think?

Okay, here we are a month and a half past the time we normally get Pandora royalties from Distrokid. I trust Pandora sent them a while ago, both for August and September. So, has anyone gotten them yet from Distrokid? Someone said they would be distributed by Distrokid in the top of the week, but now we are halfway through the week. This is so disheartening. I rely on my royalites for bills and it looks like I'm going to go probably 2 months now without anything from Pandora. I think I need to look into finding a different distributer.

If anything, I am trying to understand what I see on my end. On Instagram, I see other artists thanking Pandora to be included in playlists and they show their song added in programming placements, but all I ever see is the Fresh Cuts playlist if I end up getting a song on there. Example below. However, when I go to my catalog and pick any song at all, I can see details that show me the song is in a ton of playlists that appear to be editorial programmed playlists. Pics below to show what I mean. I used my track, "Imaginarium" as an example here. All I can see are the top 10 sources for the editorial programming, but aren't these programming placements? All the icons have the Pandora "P" logo on the top left. If these are programmed placements, then why do they not show up on my main page in the place where I can see a track added to the Fresh Cuts playlist? If they are not programmed placements, and editorial placements are different, can you please tell me the difference between the two? Also, if they are different, how can I get my songs in programming placements besides the fresh cuts playlist? The track I used an example here made it to a million streams within 10 months of it's release. It's been live for 13 months now and is still going strong at 1.4+ million. What does Pandora look at to get a track programmed? Or, do I already have this when I see all the playlists under editorial programming? Sorry if this sounds confusing, I'm just trying to better understand the data I see.

I contacted Distrokid and I got the typical response, that streaming services are on a 2-3 month delay. No real help, no looking into perhaps there is a problem on their end, just nothing. We are already past the time we would have received royalties for September, so now there are two months outstanding, August and September, and that is with their 2-3 month delay. (However Pandora has ALWAYS been on a 2 month delay). I'm really getting sick of getting jerked around by Distrokid with my money. Anyone else contact them about it? Maybe if we all do it they will release our royalties. Here's a tip, in the auto-reply chatbot, keep saying customer service and that will get you to submit a ticket. Good luck and if you get any real updates, please post them here for all of us.

Hello everyone, I've been here for a while but I never introduced myself. So here's a little bit about me... My name is Maria Davis, and I'm an Emmy nominated, multiple award winning music and film producer. My music is best described as electronic chillout, with hints of new age, ambient and trance. I combine a perfect balance of lush instrumentals and great beats to bring listeners on a musical journey with each song. My passion for music came at a young age when I was first introduced to the music of Vangelis. Raised in a small town in Arizona, access to music instruction and lessons were non-existent. Song data has not updated since 8/19/2024, as well as the lifetime station adds, campaign stats, and lifetime streams. Also if I click on manage subscriptions, my monthly listener count has not updated. However, if I go directly to Pandora and look up my artist name, I can see the real number. The only thing that seems to be updating on Pandora for Artists are the artist metrics. Please fix this.
