Whether you lived it or discovered it later, which musical era continues to influence your sound?
Hi @Spatrick79 Thanks for commenting.
I understand, the '80s and '90s have most of the music I like.
Which artists from that era have inspired you?
Hi @RuN13
Interesting, the '80s are one of my favorite musical eras 🌐 🎶
Which artists from that era do you like the most and who inspired your sound?
Hi @RuN13 Thanks for replying.
I wasn't familiar with Busta Rhymes, but I've listened to some of their songs, like Counting Green and I Know What You Want (feat. Flipmode Squad), and I have to say I enjoyed them; I liked the vibe they gave off 😎
And yes, I know how difficult it is to mention just a few of the many names of the music we like.
Finally, I'd like to mention that I also love Hard Rock from that era, like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, etc...
Have a nice day!
I like the big bands of the '70s like The Commodores Barry White The Manhattans brings me back to my childhood with family
I can vibe with all genres any year but R&B from mid 2000s brings back all the memories from the kiddo years of running around the blocks with the boys
Been getting into the EDM and stuff again more over the last year.
As far as Country goes the last 2 -3 years have been my favorite... music keeps getting better and better 😁 ❤️ 😁

Hey @TOOLIE634, that is such an exciting perspective! It´s refreshing to hear someone talk about the 2000s. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Hey @Ruiz4251! That is a powerful "four-pillar" foundation! The complex layering of the Renaissance, the percussive fire of Spanish guitar, and the ethereal breath of flute music sounds like you are building a massive, cinematic world.
If possible, it would be great if you could share your content with us; I'd love to hear it! 🎶
Hey @Qenja! That is such a soulful and powerful foundation to build upon! The '70s era of The Commodores, Barry White, and The Manhattans represents the absolute gold standard for arrangement and "bigness."
Hi @heety44! It is clear that you are drawing from a very deep and specific well of musical history. The connection between James Cleveland and the innovative soul of Curtis Mayfield provides a strong foundation for any creator.
It would be great to hear some of your content! 🎵
