Locked out / Password issue

Locked out of account. I need to update my payment options. But in order to do so I need a password that I initially used when setting up account. Is there another way ? I don't have a clue on what it could be...or would it just be easier to cancel account and reapply. I would to hate to lose all my Faves/ history. Thanks.
