Why am I hearing ads from a different city?

Are you currently hearing ads from a city you no longer live in?

Generally, we target ads based on your registration information to provide a more relevant experience. If you're receiving ads that aren't relevant to your current location, double-check the zip code registered on your Pandora account.

From a computer, visit the Pandora website and sign in.

Select the icon (initial or picture) in the top right corner of the page and then Settings. Under Account make any necessary changes to your information.

Or from the mobile app, select Profile and then the Settings gear. Go to Account and update your account info.

Be sure to save your changes when you're done, and enter your password to confirm.


...Still having trouble?

If you are still receiving ads from the wrong city after updating the zip code on your account, we'd be happy to help look into this further.

Please create a new thread in the Subscriptions space and provide us with the following information:

  • a screenshot of the ad
  • the date and time the ad played on your account
